Sandy Sports Centre is a dual-use centre attached to Sandy Upper School that offers a wide range of indoor and outdoor facilities. These facilities include:

  • A 37 station fitness suite equipped with leading edge Technogym equipment
  • A range of fitness classes from the traditional to Body Training Systems
  • A four court sports hall
  • A county standard 6 lane athletics track and infield athletic facilities
  • Floodlit all weather pitch used for football and hockey
  • 4 floodlit tennis courts
  • 2 netball courts
  • 2 squash courts
  • A function room and bar
  • A community theatre

As part of Stevenage Leisure's commitment to ensure the efficient and effective use of energy supplied, managing waste, water consumption and transport, Sandy Sports Centre will be looking at a variety of initiatives to help improve the environment.
