workout@lifestyles offers a variety of exercise classes (with over 70 per week) designed to cater for all ages, abilities, and levels of fitness.

We run a wide range of fitness classes at Flitwick Leisure Centre, from traditional favourites such as Yoga and Pilates to favourites from Body Training Systems such as BodyPump, BodyCombat and BodyBalance .Whether you want fun, energetic group sessions or relaxing, chill out sessions you can find the class to suit you. Class Descriptions

  Aqua Tone – A fun, water based workout to music.A great workout for everyone and particularly good for those recovering from injury, pregnancy or joint problems, as the water cushions the moves. Aerobics – This class combines a mixture of high and low impact aerobic moves of different intensities, maximising fat burning and improving cardiovascular fitness. Usually requires some co-ordination.
Basic Aerobics/Step – This class is designed for everyone. A low or mixed impact class for those who enjoy less choreography. BodyBalance™ - is the Yoga, Tai Chi, Pilates workout that builds flexibility and strength and leaves you feeling centered and calm. Controlled breathing, concentration and a carefully structured series of stretches, moves and poses to music create a holistic workout that brings the body into a state of harmony and balance.
BodyCombat™ -  is the empowering cardio workout where you are totally unleashed. This fiercely energetic program is inspired by martial arts and draws from a wide array of disciplines such as Karate, boxing, Taekwondo, Tai Chi and Muay Thai. Supported by driving music and powerful role model instructors strike, punch, kick and kata your way through calories to superior cardio fitness. BodyJam™ - is the cardio workout where you are free to enjoy the sensation of dance. An addictive fusion of the latest dance moves and hottest new sounds puts the emphasis as much on having fun as breaking a sweat. Funky instructors teach you to move with attitude through this 55-minute class. So grab a friend, get front and centre and get high on the feeling of dance.
BodyPump™ - is the original barbell class that strengthens your entire body. This 60-minute workout challenges all your major muscle groups by using the best weight-room exercises like squats, presses, lifts and curls. Great music, awesome instructors and your choice of weight inspire you to get the results you came for – and fast! BodySculpt – Step routines combined with interval training working major muscle groups whilst burning fat.
BodyStep™ - is the energizing step workout that makes you feel liberated and alive. Using a height-adjustable step and simple movements on, over and around the step you get huge motivation from sing-a-long music and approachable instructors. Cardio blocks push fat burning systems into high gear followed by muscle conditioning tracks that shape and tone your body.
Bums, Tums, Thighs – A low impact muscular strength and endurance workout, designed to work specific areas.
Circuits – Station based workout for the whole body, with a mixture of cardiovascular and strength work, allowing you to work at your own intensity regardless of your fitness ability. Group Exercise - This class comprises of a combination of low impact aerobic conditioning and light resistance training for a whole body work out suitable for all levels of fitness
Pilates – The original authentic mat-work exercise that gives you long lean toned muscles, better posture, a healthy back, perfect body shape and a calm mind. Yoga – Exercises and postures to release habitual patterns of tension in mind, body and breathing. Improves posture, stamina and flexibility.
X-Biking – A half hour indoor cycling exercise class, which works the upper body and core as well as legs. A total body workout that will burn more calories in a shorter time. There are two types of classes, Instructor Led Sessions and Virtual Reality X-Biking (VRX)

New customers attending X-bike classes for the first time are required to come in 10 mins before class, this allows the instructor to set them up a bike.
